We prepare house specialties on a wood-burning stove using recipes that have been passed down from generation to generation. We produce meat and dairy products on the farm and grow as much as the mountain climate allows in our garden and greenhouse. We strive to purchase other products mainly from small producers.
We offer warm soups, platters of Savinjski želodec (a traditional Slovenian meat product), salami, and homemade dairy products, as well as cheese dumplings, žlikrofi (a type of pasta filled with potato and herbs), sour milk with buckwheat spoonbread, homemade beef and pork dishes, numerous tasty side dishes, and other delicacies.
We want to be ready for your visit, so advance notice is required.
Breakfast
We believe that a good breakfast is necessary for a great start to the day. Therefore, we offer our pension guests a rich breakfast full of our own homemade treats. A plate of cured meats with our homemade dairy products, various spreads, eggs with cracklings, and in season, vegetables from the garden and homemade yogurt.
Breakfast is served from 8 to 10 a.m.
Dinner
Be surprised! Every day we prepare a slightly different dinner and ensure that our guests taste as many of the dishes we offer during their stay.
Dining rooms
We have three interconnected dining rooms, each with a touch of nature. They are suitable for smaller groups and individuals. There is room for up to 60 people.
After a busy day, enjoy a drink in the dining room with a bread oven, or in warmer months, relax on the terrace or at tables around the house, where culinary experiences are accompanied by beautiful views.
